Travelling The Dream

From Wombat Spotting in Cradle Mountain, Tasmania to Tuk Tuking with our baby in Hanoi, Vietnam to Wild Dolphin swimming in Esperance, Western Australia. Our many varied adventures have taken us to unique and exciting parts of the world.

Tasmania

The rugged and truly stunning island of Tasmania is one that we have been to many times and will continue to explore again. From Bruny Island in the South to the incredible beauty of Cradle Mountain National Park in the centre to the aesthetically blessed Bay of Fires on the North East Coast, we love all of Tassie and can’t recommend it more highly to anyone who loves nature, good food and wine, wildlife spotting and a good wholesome road trip style adventure.

Vietnam

Vietnam was a bucket-list destination for me for many years and when we finally made it as a family of three, it did not disappoint. The culture, the food, the landscapes – we absolutely loved it all.

Cambodia

Cambodia is a very special place, our family trip which followed on from Vietnam was mainly focused on visiting Angkor Wat. This is an incredible destination that everyone needs to visit at least once in their lifetime.

Thailand

Thailand is a nation of many beauties; from the most beautiful people to the stunning landscapes and the delicious food. Thailand is a destination for everyone, it caters to every budget level and every adventure style level. Whether you a seeking a pumping rave with mates or a romantic getaway with a significant other – Thailand really ticks all the boxes as a one-stop-shop.

Italy

I could passionately and easily write about Italy all day.. I really can say I fell in love when I first stepped off the plane in Rome 2018. My first real memory is pulling out of the airport in the hire car with my best friend Jenna and her bravely hitting the autobahn whilst I got lit on beers and red wine from the many amazing service stations on the way to Positano. Peroni pitstops to complete the most perfect road trip – Italy you instantly had my heart!

Croatia

The magical islands of Croatia and the bucket-list day trip to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Did you know they have bears there? We didn’t see any but I was really surprised to learn they have wild Brown Bears in the National Park! It’s kind of like when you go to Darwin and see the croc signs – they have bear signs at the entrance to the park.

Australia

From Kakadu at the top end, Uluru in the centre, Esperance in the West right down to Tassie in the South. There is nothing like checking out your own backyard. Australia is blow your mind beautiful and the possible destinations seem almost never ending. I’m sure I will continue to explore Australia for the rest of my life as it truly just seems to get better and better no matter which direction you are adventuring to.
