Travelling The Dream

The biggest travel issue we have at the moment is where to next?! We will be heading to New Zealand to visit family next year so we could combine somewhere with that trip. Each time we visit we make a point of visiting somewhere in NZ we haven’t been before. Though we are running out of places we have’t been we will have some time in the South Island and it might time to finally check out the stunning West Coast.

Our last trip to the South will be hard to beat, must write about the insanely epic flight we took over the Milford Sound. This was honestly the most breathtaking flight we have ever done. Matt doesn’t particularly like flying – even he made an exception for this. Cannot recommend it more highly.

Our home region is the Sunshine Coast so flying out of our local airport would be a massive bonus. We are super excited that Jetstar has announced flights to direct to Bali and Singapore from the Sunny Coast from March next year, those destinations are always on our radar – especially Singapore as its so easy to get basically anywhere from that amazing airport. We are also close to Brisbane airport and very tempted to book one of the now direct flights to The Cook Islands, previously this would have been 5.5 hours via Auckland. We are so excited to visit the stunning island of Atutaki and experience the beautiful Raratongan culture!

For now we will keep pondering all our dream destinations!!
